Exploring

Riley and his friends went down to an airplane today. I wanted to go with, but I found out they weren't going to fly in it today. Since they weren't going to fly, I decided to hide out in his locker until he was gone. It's really cozy in there and it's fun to hang off of the hanger rod. It reminds me of my shelf back home.

Once Riley left, I had all day to wandered around the base. It's very pretty here. The flowers are still in bloom (it's warm enough that it's green all year long here). I really liked this pink one.

I also saw a bunch of chickens outside. I didn't want to get too close to them though. My girls like to feed bugs to their chickens at home, so I know that chickens like to eat spiders. Everything was fine until the rooster saw me. He started to walk toward me so I ran away as fast as I could.

Once I got back to the room, I discovered a banana that Riley left behind. Did I mention that I LOVE bananas! I was so happy to get to eat a yummy snack today. Maybe tomorrow he'll bring me another treat.
